Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Good sail at Holloways - few of 'THE MOB' were there including Hoppy Bob,Billy and Firie.

Some big holes in the wind  in close but not to bad outside...maybe 13-15 knots.

Holes seemed to get  bigger as session went on. Not sure tomorrow as to Port,Tinaroo or Holloways.

JP 126 s/s and Loft 02 6.6

KA72, Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Rigged up as everyone was giving it away so sailed on my lonesome again, I did get to have a yack with some of the crew before hitting the water, all good Smile

Even though the wind was how ya going inshore it was ok further out, ended up having a very nice session, the best at the beach for a long time. I managed a 29.48 2sec 3.5Km off shore which was my 2nd fastest, happy with that Smile

Even though my Futura is a great board for what it is, I was happy as to get to use my red rocket which doesn't bash it's way through the chop but just just gets up and floats over, a magic carpet ride. I'm very happy with the Switchblade, I think the decision to go away from a full on race sail was a wise one Wink

Carbon Art SL58. 34 Venom, 6.8 Loft Switchblade and boardies, yay.

Green Island, QLD, AU

Very nice cruisey day at the island, wind was only 15 most of the day but the water was so nice and clear it was more fun than a 30+ day( just a bit slower!)

Sailed with Bindi on the northern run in the arvo with the kids sitting on Toody's Start anchored on the reef edge as we had no babysitter, was good fun until the kids somehow froze in the 28 degree water.

Used my 2012 Isonic 107 carbon, Overdrive 7.5 and superfast 39.Cool

I'll let Lyn & Herb know Ricky, they normally sail from the yacht club.

Bob,

Great to see there was enough for you to get out on the red rocket.

Kel,

Hypothetically, do you think you could feasibly fit say four kids on a Start? Wink
