3664 days ago Lake Weyba, QLD, AU 101 futura, 132 ahd +7.5 & 6.2 koncept
Had a plan for the dropping wind today - use the 7.5 with the 101 then change up boards as the wind decreasesd. Huey thought different. After about 20 mins on the 101 & 7.5 the wind cranked in and it was way too much for the 7.5 so went in and rigged the 6.2, Had a good couple of hours on this combo. After lunch went out on the 7.5 and 132. Sailed with Kellie Pete, Dave and Jeffro ( who got a sail today)

3664 days ago 2 categories Lake Weyba, QLD, AU. Started off on Futura101/v-max35/7.3switchblade at 10am, only lasted 20mins totally overpowered, changed to Futura93/29select/6.3switchblade, that was good till 1.30pm when it dropped off again. Came in for lunch & went back out on previous gear for 30mins before coming in to change F101 for Isonic 117, sailed with Jeffro for another hr till wind died.

3664 days ago 1 categories Lake Weyba, QLD, AU Best sailed I have had a weyba 5.0 HSM GPS and f2 missile 48w with 26 select, Sunny skies and wind when I was out was about 18-25k swinging a bit from SSE to ESE. Got there and Anne and Peter were looking very over powered but I thought they were on about 6.5s. Was going to rig the 5.8 then a few big bullets came through and I didnt feel like being overpowered so put on the 5m so nice to use a small sail and 63 litre board! was powered up almost all of the 1 1/2hrs I was out there! First run was a PB for me for choppy water and did a handful or more runs that were over 30knots so really pleased. Happy with the alpha too as is hard to gybe this board in choppy water. Would have done some distance with you Peter today but had to be back by 3pm to collect kids.
