Trial Bay, NSW, AU Rigged up and it looked pretty good, clean s-w 12-16 knots. Put my big toe in the water and it turned to a gusty on-off trickle ranging from 0-14 knots. Still fun, had some good runs with Barry and Garry- but geeeeeeeez when is the wind just going to blow a solid 15-20 knots for more than 6 minutes. Hope everyone esle got some consistent breeze. 6.6, 111 Futura

Canton Beach, NSW, AU - Arrived at 1.30pm along with Old Pete and Greg K from Lake Macq. Wind was S 12-18 knots with a few stronger gusts. So I rigged the 7.5 V8 with the JP68w  112L plus JP 31 cm weedie. Was good for the 1st 40 minutes or so sailing back and forth with Pete flly powered up, but then the wind started to shift round to the SSE and then later on SE and dropped down to less tha 10 knots so we all called it a day and had a chat onshore and went home. A nice afternoon session. Asked Pete why he did not have a GPS and he said he couldn't see thenumbers on it if he tried, so now we know.

Cheers Lads.

PS: Forgot to mention that Pete was almost smashed by a falling out of control kite from a learner today. It just missed him by less than a few metres. It was one of the closest calls I have seen in a long while. She did sort of acknowledge it and that she was sorry but if it hit him it would have really done some damage. Sheeet.....

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Was on my way to Canton and thought I would check Brandon Lane. Southerly 15/20 solid, would have rigged 6.6 but left that at home. Rigged 7.5 Koncept 115 Patrik 22 Delta. Had some problems with Gps and finally hit water when she swung ssw and died. Did some exploring of depths and had a couple of planing runs in super glassy flat water. Soo good!!South to South East 18+ and Delta fins will be ver hard to beat.

Happy Easter Team and fellow GPS junkies. Go Marauders!!!

Pete is either too much of a gentleman or he was in stunned shock by the kiter just missing him.

It was a young Lady.

Have nothing against kiters usually, but when they are learning they should keep well away from eveyone else if possible. There was another kiter out as well and he was Ok but he did a big run down towards the flagpole and could not get back when the wind shifted. Last saw him walking back with his board but no kite. Guess he left it somewhere downwind. Ha ha.......
