Byron Mcilveen (63644km): Coal Point, NSW, AU TR9 maui 8.4 and RS4 exocet v max 43, RS2 exocet , maui TR11 7.7 v max 35. light just cruzing doging alot of yaughts most of the day. Must have been 4 30pm or 5pm the wind kicked in and I was super powered up with 8.4 so changed down to 7.7 and was powered up with that but wind didnt last long and it droped again. Nice to sail with the new boards testing them out in that chop from the boats and they ate it up. Good to sail with every one, I am stocked you love Remis RS4 Steve. I even gave Steve Walsh a go on my new gear he sailed up on formula he looked sweet smoking around on a full planing jybe and hasnt been on a slalom board in years. You need to come back mate.
Mick Saunders (11686km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU NE 10-14 KNTS. Very nice and easy going race day. buggar. Plenty of wind but couldnt clear 20 knots. Come to think of it i should have used the 10m. Formula 159 deb 70 17s, maui xtr 7 11.0m.

James Farley (12642km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU Exocet RS Formula, TR9 11.0, VMG M75 - Wind ENE 10 knots Wind was a bit stronger than yesterday but the 2 hrs of yard work this morning took it out of me and couldnt really get in the groove. Still ended up being a nice afternoon and my 8 yr old son tried his new harness today - hopefully the start of the path to getting him planing. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
GeoffS (7860km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU JP Formula 100 Pryde RS6 11.0 Another soft spot in the JP so back to old trusty 159 for now. 3 quick races then off to the granddaughters birthday party, just as the breeze was starting to come in nicely.
sboardcrazy (24418km): 10-18kts NE - NNE Peel st Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - 115 Xcross - 7.8m OD + 20 cm delta then 7.8mOD - 89ltre Falcon + 20cm delta then 7mOD + 115xcross + 38cms makani weedie Fun sail! Was going to organise my partner to come and take photos but the forecast wasn't good enough to bother. I wasn't expecting much but went out on the slower freemove big kit. Fun! Decided to go for an hr but mainly sailing/ crabbing upwind , some off the plane and stopped to adjust my mast foot.Have to plan an hour one time and just reach on long runs. Pretty consistent 10-14kts NE. Max 24.6kts on this combo so I decided to try the faster falcon. Much faster.. I'm proud of myself. I decided to push myself a bit more and keep going rather than stop /rest / turn the board around. Out of about 50 gybes in the whole session I only muffed one. No fully planing ones but with that monster sail ( for me) I didn't expect to. I can see why you guys are so good. Doing that many gybes in a session they started to get on auto mode. Wind picked up and I was getting overpowered on the 7.8m so I decided to come in and change to the 7m. It was predicted to come up later. Bummer should have stayed out . I never check my trip meter but once in I realised I only needed another 6nm to get a PB. It was pretty late by now and everyone was saying it had swung more N and got gusty. I'd just changed down to the 7m so I put a decent fin on and went back out in the chop for a few runs on the Xcross. Underpowered- but I got going in the puffs. They were fun! Late finish so home in the dark. Pity I didn't know about the distance earlier as I could have just stayed out and got extra distance rather than wasting half an hr of the best wind rerigging.. Milsy , Mick, Mat , Wayno, Pugs, Larko, Pete and assorted others.
