Its good just being here with so many sailors.

Like the old days.

Yesterday wasquite pleasant. Today was quite not. I took the small gear of course 7m+95L board.

Will do it differently tomorrow

I'll have to live a bit longer. Had a good sail but wind was not quite the right direction. Went out early, straight to the north run wwhich was going to be the good one but it was pretty bad breeze & I noticed Kiwi Darren way upwind, going well  on the east run so decided to change. Involved a walk through the shallows but the wind was much better & there were some bearaways possible on the bank, not quite enough wind to get a good angle. I never go fast on the big gear but it was the right gear for the day. Maybe tomorrow. CASL 70, 7.7,  32 WEEDY.

Coal Point, NSW, AU - Exocet RS4, 7.0 Naish Grand Prix, C3 viper. Did look like it would come in better than it did but had a hoot anyway. Should have put on the 7.7 but I wouldn't have gone the distance... Bring on Wednesday.

10-19kt Ne - NNE Peel st Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - 7m OD + 89ltre falcon + 20cm delta ( better upwind with this combo- less spinout).

Bit light when i arrived but rigged the 7m hoping it would come in as predicted. Got going ok with it and got the same speed as I had with the 7.8m. Struggled to get decent speed- 28.4 / 28.5 / 28.6 kts Undecided The after everyone went in it kicked in and I got some great powered runs in the flats ..What a buzz! Who cares if its slow it was fantastic fun..Tongue outTongue out quite a few yodels.Love to get 20-25kt of wind in there...

Decided to go for a few alphas but couldn't resist the smooth so ended up doing  bearaways then hardening up  gybe and out.. problem was by the time I gybed I was generally in the patchier wind and I didn't get a gust to exit..bit disapointed in the alpha as I remember that gybe and it was a good gybe.. bit slow getting a puff to get back to speed.I'll have to just go for some gybes and do them further out in the wind.

Hands were killing me at the end - callouses on callouses. Not many out. They must have got worn out yesterday. Milsy , Mick , Pugs who all finished about 4.30??

Think everyone who went to Burrm must have been wind sacrifices as we've had wind here ever since!

Isonic 117, 7.9 46 fin

Coal Point, NSW, AU

iSonic125 GaastraGTR 7 then 6. SL7 40 then SL12 37.

Should have gone small first then larger. 6 and 37 fin were perfect and comfortable but a bit late as the wind started to die.

Maybe again tomorrow?

Still havent worked out how to get a screen shot of Cesium tracks in Android.
