Egg Island, Lewis Bay, Cape Cod. XFire 90, BP WS 31, Koncept 5.8. Great conditions with high tide and wind averaging around 28 mph, gusting to 33. Although it seemed the meter was reading a tad high today - no sand blowing, and the 5.8 felt comfortable going upwind (and thus a but small in speed runs, except in lucky gusts). The inside area is a bit too short for good 10 second runs, but it was nice to hear GPSLogit announce 32 knots a few times. Tried to go for a mile at the end of the session, but between chop on the outside, big wind holes on the inside, and the wind dropping rapidly, that was not a great idea. Should have gone for alphas instead.. next time.

Getting back on the 90 l board as the wind dropped was interesting. I got lucky to catch enough wind to plane through the ferry lane, but then ended up schlogging a submarine for a while, until the wind shadow closer to shore made even that impossible. But the swim to shore was short, and definitely worth it!

Wow that was crazy, huge wind range from 5 to 30 knots and unorganised chop going every direction. One of thos testicle measuring days that rewarded the insane, if you were crazy enough to point it offwind in the gusts you couldn't be sure you'd be still onboard at the end of the run. In other words I loved it!

Better. Starting to feel more comfortable.

Manta 98, Koncept 7.5, T-43 (34cm)

First good session at Washoe this year, and looks like it's not going to last very long, lake is only 2-3 feet deep with bushes sticking out of the water at some spots and water level starts going down..):

Tomorrow should be wind too, will try to take everything from this place while still have a chance..

Yes, you can tell when Roo loves it by the big S*** eating grin on his face when he comes into shore. Wink

Thanks guys. Roo, if you keep growing you balls so you can use them instead of a weight vest, you'll have problems walking soon!

Dennis, next time you steal my jellies Tongue out, do it by at least a knot or two. I knew they'd be gone as soon as two fast guys were on the water the same day, but I was hoping to keep them for at least a day or two Cry
