Got to Primbee before first light. Bucketing rain. Water glassy at sunrise with not a breath of breeze. About to pull the pin when SW kicks in. Was just starting to enjoy things at 9am as it filled in a bit. Bang....... snapped boom arm. You jinxed me Eckers, all this talk about needing a carbon boom :)
Naish SP95, Loft RB 7.0, Unifiber Weed 26. Naish Alu Slalom Boom 180-230 (now deceased).
Dezza hitting the water as I left & Gerry in Kiting mode. Primbee, NSW, AU

2582 days ago Primbee - fabulous southerly - 20 - 25 knots
Feeling a bit left out having seen Nudie cracking open all those beautiful evo 9s so i cracked open my new (second hand of course) North E type 6.6.
Loved it - rigged beautifully first time.
Fanatic Falcon 80, Black Project Weed Speed 25, North E Type 6.6. Missed the peak of the wind by about half an hour but still an epic interlude to the windsurfing trailer build.

2582 days ago Primbee, NSW, AU A bit late in posting but the GT31 battery run dry this arvo, maybe lost a few kms.
Pretty windy all day, choppy out in the middle because the wind was moving around
but super smooth behind the wharf, still some tree branches floating around.
You know Tabou 95l Rocket NP 5.8 Evo6 A brand new 7m Evo9 would have looked good.

On the water late today after a day in Bowral, about 4:40pm in a fading southerly with unbelievable sun glare, just hoping there was nothing to hit because I wouldn't have seen it.
Never really powered up but still a good little sail.
7.0 evo7, Kenny, 35cm and 36cm carbon slalom fins.

Quite a late start with the southerly looking relatively consistent but maybe in hindsight I should have gone with the bigger board and sail as there was a bit of floating involved particularly in the middle of the lake. I managed to hit that log you were telling me about Tezza but thankfully there was no damage done. Probably due to the solid reconstruction MT did on the old beast a couple of years back.
