Nice arvo windfoil on a Late arvo,dying seabreeze. about 8 - 15knots

Picked up the new dedicated JP wood 135 foilboard from Reg at Windsurfing Perth

with the serial number of......1!!!!!

His brief was for me to test its foil ability.. unfortunately the new pryde foils are still a week or so away

so the test was more a comparison between the Horue 115 dedicated foilboard and the JP 135 dedicated board.

Needless to say the JP is spot on usable from the get go- i plugged the mast base in the back

of the track and placed the straps in a mid range setting and didnt change a thing.

In terms of a direct comparison the jp is obviously a lot bigger than the Horue.

This extra size has no real impact on flight, and obviously it gets going a fraction earlier than the horue

at the 'pump onto foil stage'. So in effect bigger is better....

Even tho the jp is wood and larger and heavier than the horue it flew well and didnt feel heavy while flying

and on the touch downs  it was very forgiving due to the rounded rails in the forward area.

All in all i think i need one.Tongue out
