Nice mellow session, lots of foilers out. Some butter for licking in the jibe ARoona!

Laying it down with an extra dose of spray!

Doing a Slingshot!

I was wondering if you had a session today - a little late on posting, were you not Tongue out. You are getting some nice distance on your sessions.

No session yesterday - looked like it was epic? Tourists starting to show up, or will that be another week or two?

Still pretty quiet out here, wont get busy until the rugrats are out of detention mid June! Looks good this weekend for warm 20 knot breezes both days, get your butt out here princess! Yesterday was too gusty and choppy for speed, wind went from 15 to 40 from one side of the river to the other. Aiming to get in 60km each day I sail this year, on a serious training program losing weight and building up endurance and strength to be ready for La Defi wind next year in France. Time to go racing again...I feel the need.

Roo, nice pics. You must have had someone in a boat get those shots!

Glad you are motivated to get in shape and do some serious training. I'm not so will be paying for it relatively soon...

Slightly off topic... just looked at Bonneville flow rate expecting it to be gradually decreasing - NOT. A month ago it was 450 KCFS total flow. By May 20th it had dropped to about 400 KCFS and bounced around that number until a couple of days ago and then BAM back up to 450 KCFS. Turns out the Snake River basin snow must be beginning to melt because then Snake flow rates doubled in the past couple of days. So, you should have cuntinued current in favorite jibe area although I suspect the White Salmon current is starting to diminish so you may just see bigger swells...

Photos taken from the steps at Waterfront Park. Still loads of current but very confused in the jibe ARoona today. Also lots of debris in the water, nailed a branch at speed and went over the handlebars. Doubt we'll see a sandbar this year.

Just found some old photos. The jibe on the left is 30 years ago when I first came to the USA, the one on the right 3 days ago. Not a lot has changed, well maybe a bit less hair!

Roo, Nice! I'll suggest you have pretty well established muscle memory for these jibes Laughing.
