In a new area of the island today, wind up and down making sail and board choice hard but wow... such long flat runs...

Slalom and free race back to back... beam time.

Another day of slalom and freerace!  Wind was up and down during the slalom, making the 7.8 a good choice, as just manageable in the gusts and just enough int he light stuff.  Wind was still OK for most of the freerace, but a couple of lulls where I dropped off the plane for a while and a lot of gybes where I also came off the plane really hurt my 1 hr (that's my excuse!).  Well done to all the Tassie guys who are competing in all of the slalom and freerace events - it is pretty gruelling!
