Thought I would try some where different in a Northerly so went to Goolwa. Sailed just before the barrage.
A lot stronger than forecast and didn't take the 5.5. Needed it as it was constant 25+ when I arrived. Two locals on old gear , one had a 4.8 and the other a 5.7 Both over powered. Put up the 6.3 KA Race on the 92 Patrik with a 34 fin. It was a handfull as have only sailed twice over winter. Over finned so put on a weedie that made control a bit better but couldn't get any speed.
Much better than Le Bog in a Northerly. Will be going back on the next one. ( Bit of weight training and fitness required before though ).
