I arrived just as a 25 knot gust came through and was looking forward to using some smaller gear but as I rigged the wind became weaker and weaker and in the end I got out the BIG board, which still was not enough in the frequent lulls. A very frustrating session, and in the end I gave up because the extreme gustiness was too annoying. That turned out to be a bonus for Jeff and David, because just after I had brought my gear onto the grass the best wind of the afternoon came through and lasted about 10 minutes.
Not a top 10 Melville day, but good to see some sunshine and only a little rain. Fitness is improving. Made most of my gybes.
