Waylen Bay, Applecross WA

Windfoiling with a huge crowd of 5 of us. Had some good runs today, its a great feeling when up and flying.

Wind was up and down a bit and so was the water when the time trial boats messed things up so called it a day.

Pretty funny looking at the speed and distance as it feels so much faster and wears you out so quick.

Melville Beach, WA, AU

Rainy, cold, gusty frontal type day, cannot wait for summer. Mostly grovelling about but the odd gust was heaps of fun. Good to catch up with Ken and Ricey.

Nice weekend sail with quite a few Pinnas. A bit of sunshine and a couple of rainbows. Good to see Ricey, JJ, Boz and Jase.

Up and down wind, better than none at all

First time I have sailed into a rainbow; really inspiring.

Also some little girls were selling cupcakes on the forshore, so a sugar hit meant another couple of runs.

Nice to see Kenny, Boz, JJ and Jason who was doing some good moves.

Testing my new (used) board - getting ready for summer down-winders at Leighton. Unbalanced with the small fin.

Pinnaroo Point, WA, AU

M137 + 7.4 Koyote + 38 Vector weedy.

Got down to Pinnaroo around 3.30 and it was a solid 20K, so rigged the 7.4.

By 4 it was red arrows Yell

Waited around for half an hour and it booted back in around 5.  I was well powered now on the 7.4, and as I gybed on my second run out to sea the boom head gave way, leaving me stranded a kay offshore Surprised

Managed a very sketchy jury rig by tying the clamp rope onto the mast, and slowly made my way back in, with the head of the boom hanging from the mast and dangling around waist height.

Pretty uncomfortable, but I made it back in, and after a big walk of shame I was finally done and dusted by 6.30.

Hard yards Undecided
