Fun little session at Holloways with a few of the lads, Kel, Troy,Pete, Benny and me old mate Freddo.  First full sail at the local slop with my CA too. Solid session with 15-18knts at times and quite rough at times out the back. Really struggled at times to keep such a wide board sitting in the swell lines, kept getting the feeling that it wanted to bounce around to much. Might just have to push through that feeling and see what comes out the other side. 

Troy, TJ  passes on her apologies mate. She didnt recognise you as you wernt suposed to be there. Hi Troy!!!

Benny "The Lad" McCarthy had a ball today. Blatting back and forth, with one foot in the straps. Nice one mate. Latch on to the board of Kel's and you wont remember what struggle is or was. You're doing great.

Great  day with lots of crew. Wind had a nice grunt to it.

Fun sail at the beach with Freddy, Billy, Ben, Peter and Troy. Nice consistent 18ish knts for a change.

Used Isonic 107, C3 Viper 36 and Overdrive R8 7.0

Green Island, QLD, AU Gear X fire 90 Tribal sw 29 LT1 7m2 then after lunch switched boards to the X fire 98 /tectonics phoenix 36 .

Nice Sunny day but should have rigged the 7.8 .Wind was Mostly in the 16-19 knot range so lots of holes & not much planing out of gybes going on .

Sailed with step son LACH who was a little more underdone than I....

great session at Holloways with a few of the mobsters (6 in total) ....best turn out for quite a while.

Billys first session at Holloways with his new board.....results speak for themselves....great effort William and hope you get over

your cold soon.

Trojan (Troy) from Mackay sailed very well and appeared to be hovering above the water at times ....looked scary.

Young Pete from Cairns or Brisbane put in a creditable performance and was looking at a good nautical mile and 2 sec.

but must have been marked down a little. (toes not pointed.)

Ben struggled at times but stayed out without using his footstraps .....that's an effort worth full marks.

Kel.....as expected a great effort ....made the rest of us feel like we have taken go slow pills.

All appeared happy with their sail and Troy commented it was great to sail with a some others rather than by his self.

Good words and good company today ....hope there are plenty more.

Had to drive 10hrs for a sail and finally got one. Great little session with the local lads. CA70, Ezzy Lion 7.5.

Peter. thought you had payback didn't you. Looks like you'll need to save it for next time.

Fun afternoon sail with a good turn out of crew.  Rocked up just after midday to greet Freddo who was keen as mustard to get out on the water being the first cab off the rank.  Steady wind today got the rig up and planing quite easily.  Dodging some of the moguls and swell not as easy.  I swear my feet hovered over the board by about a foot whilst encountering probably the most unco chop hop in history!, but I somehow managed to hang on to the ol'girl!, which led me to have a good hard talk to myself- shortly after I had my front foot in the straps...  Had a blast sailing on the back to the beach runs staying upwind and playing in the chop.  So nice to sail back to point with the lads giving some applause and encouragement for effort!  The walk of shame may be a thing of the past...

Sorry to say Freddo, no PB's today, close NM.  Felt like I had a few good blasts but the chop probably makes for a faster feeling.  Billy, GI can turn one into a spoilt brat!  

Once again, Captain Kel blasted around leaving something to aspire to. 

Was nice to meet Troy and Peter today.
