Well, the spirit was willing but the flesh was weak. Finally hit the jackpot = which was good because this might be the end of our season. My teacher, Ed, came down to see how I was going. Took the 133 isonic and the 7.2 and 7.8 rigged the 50cm fin - breeze looked OK so rigged the 7.2 - not enough wind. Rigged the big 7.8 my favourite combination = a little more breeze and then a little more - and a little more and a little more. This built into a solid ENE gusting up to 20knots +. Had lots of fun ripping into the swell and screaming down the face of the waves. Ed and I are hoping there might be enough wind for a Sunday GI session - the Sunday tides in the morning are massive and neapish - 2.6m - 1.8m - maybe I will get to sail the big isonic and 7.8m sail out there - that would be a treat......
