Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

All smiles, but Im hoping ive just had my crap sail for the year. Just couldnt get it together today. Freddo and I rigged at 20kts and shot out pretty quickly....from there on though it dropped out to 15kts and I was totally underpowered. So much so, that when the breeze turned southerly I couldnt get home (ended up near the river mouth) and as a result, I did the walk of shame (a big one). Was a real struggle today.

Still, I know plenty who had to work, so no complaints and I got to sail with the FNQ Mob's MVP and all round good lookin bloke - Freddo.

Used: CA SL108, 6.5T4 & 40 Sting 2

Sailed with Billy at Holloways.....wind had lots of holes in it and was very rough.

Wind was less than expected and very southerly so was not looking at being a great session

but managed over 2 hours vertually planning for most of the session.

GPS recorded only had 80KB of the session....Gaz the go to man had a look but no go.

Maybe another sail tomorrow....see what is around.

Still nice to hear you got out on the water Snorks, B1 & Freddo.

B1- walk of shame hey...  bet you haven't had to do that for some time now- passable no's nethertheless Laughing

Freddo, oh you beautiful man you, I'm sure you would have kept B1 honest!  Save some of your inspiring awesomeness for the weekend compadre...  I am wondering whether there may be a chance for us to drag your man beauty to GI (perhaps) for a sail on the weekend...
