2138 days ago Kalmus, Cape Cod. Wind decoupled just as we got to the beach, so slogged for 90 minutes until it picked up again. Lazy freestyle session, warm enough to fall a lot in a 2 mm wetsuit. Compared the GW-60 watch to 3 ublox 8 GPS units, including a Drotek NEO-M8N. Generally very good agreement (mostly within 0.1 knots, often 0.05). Accuracy estimates get a bit too optimistic for nautical mile and 1 hour, but that's nothing new. The error estimates on the u-blox 8 units was quite a bit lower than for the GW-60 (~ half; +- 0.1 kn for 10 secs vs. 0.2). No large obvious differences between the Drotek NEO-M8 (connected to a phone via USB) and the Beitian modules (connected to Openlog recorders), but I'll need to have a closer look.
