Windsup (8246km):  3 categories    Peel Inlet, WA, AU Liptons wave pool! Fanatic Speed 48 wide, TR17 5.1 & Tribal WS 23. First time on the 5.1, rigged it with my wave boom and thought it was flat enough for the 21 speed fin, first run I found my wave boom harness lines are too short and secondly after spinning out and running face first down my sail the 21 was too small for the chop. After changing out my harness lines and switching to the 23 weedy I headed out back into the ring, venturing over to point grey in search of some flat water. I found a reasonable flat section with a large wind shadow, seemed luck of the draw if you could time a gust that come all the way through. After numerous catapults and stepping on something which I first thought was a crab until it started to ache I decided to call it a day before my luck run out. By far the windiest i have ever sailed happy with the 5.1 felt i could really lock it down in the gusts just couldnt keep the board in the water maybe should of went the the 87lt with a 27cm fin.
