Went to Buff Point early(9am) hoping for a strong Southerly. James had lent me his 84l JP to try (Thanks), but was only 10-12 knots. Waited around for a couple of hours but no luck. The intell. from Russel was that Canton is better in a southerly. Well now I know, and it was.!!! Not stong but enough for a decent sail. Used the trusty old combo Futura 122 ,Loft 7.8 and JP 36 weedy. Around 15ish and 18 at times . Nice long runs ,flat in close and short steep chop out further so a bit of fun.
A few guys out when I got there ,some from Sydney as well.

Felt more like a westerly up and down and shifty but still better than mowing the lawn.
Followed by quick foil with 7.7 managed 21 knots on the foil a bit slower than the slalom lol.
