10-15kts with occasional puff to 17kts ENE - NE Peel st Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

7.5m GT Turbo - RS4 ( 111ltre) - 24FF

 then 7m M1OD - 87ltre isonic- 21.5cm FF ( cutdown 24)

Got there early and I'd forgotten my book. All on my lonesome so when I got bored I thought I'd rig my new GT Turbo..The wind was supposed to come in later so I didn't think I'd use it but nothing was happening so I took it out. I'd taken the spacers out of the other but left these in to see how it went..Still rotated great ..bit more of an OD feel..Maybe better bottom end ( although I did use the top clewhole for the first time). Only out 3/4hr on that. It was patchy but ok in the gusts . I am still nursing a sore arm so I didn't want to be on the big kit too long..

I stopped for a rest and somehow ended up under the sail under the water..I made my way out via the mast and almost ran out of air... Came up spluttering and water is still running out of cavities hours later..Undecided Oh well best to learn to follow the boom out from a situation like that than from a nasty fall..

Came in and rigged the next down assuming it would come in.. Think the best was when I was reriggingUndecided.. Not consistent enough for easy upwind with the smaller gear but if was fun in the flats although I only got 2 bearaways and I wasn't really powered up enough to really bear away.

Called it quits while my arm was still not too bad.

Just me then Pete, Pugs , dave , Wayne, Frothie..At least it was nicer down there ( 24degrees) than at home ( 35degrees) ..Ugh I think summer has arrived..Frown

pleasant introduction to my new little Slingshot/fun foil at Peel st with Bruce, Paul and Mike. Very guty though.

Used the infinity slinghot in my 8cm wide ionic with an old ailwork 6.4m ail. Went fine..friendly foil...

Have to work on the S key again !!!
