c 15-22kts SSE Lake George, SA, AU

6.2m M2OD - 87ltre iso - 21.5cm FF ( cutdown 24)

 then iso 80ltre - 20cm FF

Started too early and tried for an hr. I knew it wouldn't be much good as I was off the plane a bit and when I did get planing was working hard to keep going. I cut the run short on the launch side as there was a dead patch in there. I could see the wind was stronger up higher but catch 22 as I was too underwpoered to get up there..

Surprised that the tracks say I was so far off the shore on the E side SurprisedI kept going really close and at times the 20 touched..the wind came in after 45 mins but I was stuffed by then and sailing like a sack of spuds..Undecided I need to get fitter..Frown

Anyway gave up on getting a decent hour but figured anything would improve on my current 7kt hour..Laughing Then I started to look at the view through the sail and enjoy things more.

Bit of a rest and lunch and back out on the 80ltre. I was hoping for some speed runs but too buggered..Did get some fun bearaways in the middel Tongue out

Bit disapointed that I was too tired to make use of the day.It was lovely , not too strong and the çhop'wasn't too bad..

I was hoping for a better alpha as I am trying to improve them but I'm still too wide..Undecided

Enjoyed socialising with everyone driving by..Smile

Heaps out! too many to name..Frothie , Pete , Hamma ,launched where I was. Once again we were entertained by Frothies description of the conditions..

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

Well, a lot better than saturday! other than the weed!  Paul Mike Bruce and l at Peel st. We used mainly under 6m sails and it was enough. Some real strong gusts!

Funny, there are often more of us foiling there that used to be the slalom paradise. I mean it still is but l guess there`s always more of light winds around!
