Saw proper SE in the forecast so headed to Stansbury to try the area behind the spit. Just enough water to get across and sailed the 3km run out to the 3 mile. The tide was still dropping and the 22 fin was scraping through the shallow weed. Just adjusted the line to closer to the drop off and continued. I ran aground out near the pole and had to walk to deeper water, stuffing the hour attempt. Was great fun out there
Later, Kym and Chris joined in the fun but it was a struggle in the light patchy wind. The wind died off some more and that was enough for me to call it quits for the day.
