Bit of a let down after yesterday. Wind was on and off and lots of boat traffic made it pretty choppy.

Lake Weyba, QLD, AU. Gusty SE to ESE, had a nice session before lunch on FOX105/27WS/6.4 Noah. Wind eased a bit as I was having lunch so had to change up to Naish100Bullet/33WS/7.0 Overdrive which was just enough until about 4pm when it got patchy again. Out with Steven, Adam, Mike, Bryn, Nigel, Greg, Anne, Harry and Paul. Good to have 7 days in a row of nice wind.Cool

Well now...that was a bit of fun !!! For this time of the year, that was a sensational little 13-15 knt'r. Out with the usual reprebates - King Fred and B2.

Arrived at the Wallow Pit with pretty low expectations actually as all on line weather sites didnt hold up much other than a lowely 10 kts - well we certainly sprung into action, rang Fred to get him out of bed (poppy nap) and pull his garters back up and make haste before this mirage dissapeared forever. B2 and I shot out towards New Caladonia on an ESE breeze and the fun began. Got caught in a slight direction change but managed pretty well to get out of that one and for the next 2 hrs it was a very nice mid summer sail in the Tropics. PS - dont wait up for B2 to post, if he's in his usual form, it wont be till midnight Wink.

Used: AHD FD 140, 8.6 Loft SB, 47 S-Ride.

Benny text me and Billy phoned.....by the time I arrived at Holloways both were on the water and could not be seen...loooonnngggg way out!!SurprisedWater/wind was much better than yesterday with white caps as well. Billy came back and jibed while I was setting up.....was on the water about 2:30 and was probably 20 mins before I saw either of them again. They 'could' have appeared to be having a good time ....if I saw them!!Anyway was great to get the call and have a reasonable sail...managed to get an hour in as I had felt yesterdays effortCry thanks guys.

Unexpected fun little cruisy arvo sail with B1 & FredAstaire!- nothing too rigorous...  Probably just what the doctor would have ordered considering the fluid build up on the ol' knee from the last outing jibe attempt mishap a month ago...  Not that it would have stopped me sailing before now- we have just had bugger all wind!  So it was just great to get back out on the water today!!

Freddo rocked up later than B1 & I, but quickly jumped into action gazelling around with waving arms & yahoos!  Someone even put a little camp chair underneath the shade of a tree with ocean views just for Freddo so he could sit back, relax and take in the serenity... for after days like these!

Used the old bigger recently patched Exocet 135 board today (reckoning she's had more surgery than the whole of the Kardashian's put together!) - "slow & steady, build it up heavy grand ol' dame she is"

Sunny Day~ Blue Skies~ Pretty Girls on the Beach~ Freddo~ & some half decent company...  just great! Laughing Wink Seriously, what more could one ask for... Cool
