10-23kts E - ENE Coal Point, NSW, AU

7.5m GT turbo- RS4 ( 111ltres) - 39cm C3 sting pointer

 then 6.6m KA Koncept - RS2 ( 90ltre) - 33cm select pointer

Zzzzzzz I'm buggered..

Started out in 10-15kts and did a run across to Carey on the big gear. By the way back it was getting pretty maxed out so came in and rigged the smaller kit.

Should have rigged smaller..Ok for another run across to Carey overtaking some big watercraft Tongue out to get away from their wake..Frown

Decided to go into the point and drop it to the lower clew but jumped in too early. Fun changing it over with 2 1/2 ft breakers going through..Undecided

Across to the sand islands to fine tune things and by then it had really kicked in - probably up to 23kts +..( usually on the 5.5m and 80 in that ).

Brown pants run back. Really thought I was going to get smashed. Board was flying across the top of the chop and the fin was trying to rail it up at times..My back leg was killing me.I tried to bear off in the bits of less wind ( not many) to come up in the big stuff.. so glad to hit the easier dead patch in front of Coal..Surprised

PB nm for Coal..

Very tired so I couldn't be bothered rerigging the smaller gear. I only got back from LG yesterday and i think I'm still jetlagged from the drive..the heat ( 36 degrees ) doesn't help either..Undecided

Lyds came down on the foil to get Greg and they headed to Belmont. I think Greg had a pretty hary trip back!
