Lake Weyba, QLD, AU. I tried but just totally overpowered on 5 mtr, adam was handling it with 3.7. Greg was getting gusts on his wind meter over 30 kts on shore.

Not nuking like down South but the start of the wind finally got here. Gusty onshore stuff 10-18kNts. Ended up well powered on the old barn door and 7.5, probably could have changed to the CA70 but was having too much fun tail walking through the chop and dodging sticks, weed and big jellies.

iS90, 7.0RBlade, 30 Tribal Sl - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU ESE 15-22kn

Phew, got the session off the GPS.  First time with this combo in a long time but it felt okay.  Pretty bumpy on the water so it was hard to go broad.

The Train, Southport, QLD, AU

89 Falcon / 6.2 R8 / Tribal 23 speed

High tide and wind really south early so did another session at Shearwater on the wave gear. Was on 4.7 and 74 Eviltwin for most of the time but the wind kicked so borrowed Merena's 3.9 and was overpowered at times on it. Had the Garmin on and managed a 32 on the wave gear in the Shearwater washing machine. Wind looked like it had got a it of east in it so decided to check the train out. Few out so gave it a go even though smallest race sail is 6.2. Tried an experiment and used 23 speed fin on the 89 for the first time. Just starting to get used to it and the wind died.

Snags, way too many sessions this year. Careful you don't burn out. Nice speeds for first time back on the slalom gear.

I'm hearing ya Troy......bloody jarred my bad knee and I'm feeling really old right now!

35knots is pretty windy Pete although that still looks like a millpond compared to my neck of the woods!
