The wind played the usual summer games, dropping from 28 to 20 mph between the time we rigged and when we got to Egg Island. But it picked up again after an hour, so we had a blast. First Carve 360 of the season - once I remembered how to do them, I got 5 or 6 in a row. No surprise, conditions were perfect. Ended the session with a bit of bump and jump at Kalmus, the swell was nice and high. With water temps around 16 C and air just a bit higher, still used the 4/3 suit, but got hot if I did not get submerged on a regular basis. Freestyle is good for that! Fun. Let summer start!
