Decided to have a sail in Dr Cam's backyard this arvo.  Very light Southerly winds on arrival- not enough to enthuse the Doc to join... think he made the right call to go and have a siesta instead.

Relatively easy to get over to Double Island.  Once there, the water was nice and flat, just not enough wind to do much- another few knots and it would have been great.

A real struggle to get back with the wind direction + having the Kestral 24 fin plugged in- ended up a bit further down the beach at the end of the sesh.  Many thanks to Dr Cam for driving the car down saving the walk back.

Still a fun little outing for the first day of holidays!
