25/30kn ESE then SE, 5pm low tide (15-20 forecast). Wish I'd seen that coming, would have packed some smaller gear. Got smashed by a gust out of nowhere when I was launching and then it was on, 30+ gusts. Had to contend with the chop from the big tide going out until 5 when it flattened out, was buggered by then. Magic afternoon with Jamie, Sean and Brendan.
