My Garmin GPS bit the dust years ago so found Windsport Tracker authored by Matthias Koch from Germany and played with it this week at Lake George.

I down loaded it on to my Huawei P20 phone and have had mixed success so far but it seems to be a really nice App.

Anyway I would have had more sessions but needed 2 days for my corked thigh to come good from an instant deceleration (crash) by sailing (not deliberately) into a very unforgiving weedberg on Tuesday. Embarassed

Lake G has magnetic like qualities. Sailors from WA, NSW, Vic, Qld and the SA locals just can't stay away and its no wonder. Flattish water, long long runs.  Manna for the most dedicated speed challengers.LaughingTongue out Meeting and putting faces and personalities to the names on the GPS Team Challenge site was interesting. Some really really nice guys and some!

Geoff and myself did not camp at the spit (too old for 70+ guys). Shared a house in Beachport with Chris and Glenn that was organised by Jacko-thanks for that. It was really great not having to change, shower and cook every night in the cold fading light on the spit.
