10-18kts S Lake George, SA, AU

7.5m GT Turbo- RS4 ( 111ltres) - 24FF

2 runs with 7m M2 OD - 87iso - 21,5FF

Got there late expecting it to come in but rain came in and it was overcast so it never really did.

Not bad on tthe big kit although I'm still too timid to ease off the wind because I don't want to lose ground downwind. The flat area was bigger and a lot of fun. I was taking some risks going in close and stacked one gybe hard. I usually hit bottom on the rig flip but I tore through ytthat and hit a hump  on the exit. ugh.

I'm pretty happy with my gybes . Now I've just got to learn how to get a decent alpha..UndecidedYell

I was starting to get some big gusts up the top end ( that's a good 2 sec for that combo) so i decided to rig down..Big mistake..wasted the best of the wind and it had died and got patchier when I got back out.

Cripes it's hardwork dragging gear in and out. I like the boat ramp but it's really shallow atm and by the time I've dragged stufff in and out I'm done..Frown

Ended up finishing at the water level sign.. much better ! I could sail all the way in.

Tried the Go pro on the side of my helmet so I got a lot of sailors and I could look back at my wake.

Now I've just got to offload it somehow..laptop is a cheapie with no storage or USb ports..Undecided

Heaps out. Nice to see some extra women out there!

Lake George, SA,

Nice light wind day to get the feel of Lake George. Second person out , as usual Dezza was the first .

Wind was south maybe 10-15+ knots at times. Smooth flat water is so nice.

Exocey RS4 , Loft Switchblade 7.8 , MUF 20 Delta Slalom.
