Sunshine, NSW, AU

falcon foil, starboard carbon 800 wing, s2 venom 7.7

falcon 115, v max 37

first sail in ages with bad back and post surgery.

started on foil new foil and board could not get any more than 22.5 out of it  felt ok down wind and managed a few jybes with no touch downs but up wind not much fun.

swaped to slalom board and 31 first run off the shore way quicker felt great ridding on the fin much more enjoyable. of course wind then swung SE droped and got gusty.

tried the foil again moved mast track a bit better but still not much fun up wind but ok off the brease.

so sore and tired now drink beer and rest hope I pull up ok tomorrow.Good to be sailing again I cannot wait to speed sail again one day.

12-17kts SSW Cockies Lake George, SA, AU

 7.5m GTTurbo- Rs4 (111ltres) 24FF

Best day since I've been here! It was so nice to launch in an onshore breeze. I was game to go exploring and went to the spit and then decided to work up the lake. It seemed to be dying so i gave up halfway and enjoyed the trip back in.

I was trying to get long tacks to the E and grounded in the rock bed 3 x. I got warning with the fin so just unhooked and came to a stop exceot for the last time when I unhooked etc and went over the front.. I could just imagine the peanut gallery onshore going Ýay"/whoa etc!!!Laughing I don't think anyone saw it anyway..

Comfortably powered , practised my upwind technique and got into the groove a few times. Worked on my alphas and I'm starting to record some so hopefully when the wind comes in I can get some ok ones on the smaller gear..

 Sailed 3- 5.45pm.

Some lovely flat areas, love the spit..Very happy..

It may not be PB territory but it's a top place to sail..Tongue out

A convoy of us left and the guy in front of me got bogged.. Sorry I kept going but I knew I couldn't help and I'm frontwheel drive too. I was sure you didn;t want 2 vans to get out..Hope you got him out ok.

I got 'lost'on the way back and Daffy who was behind me had to come and show me a way out. Thanks!

Lake George, SA, AU

A light S/W came in late and teased quite a few out. Most of the crew were at Pakin Point to start with but about half went around to Cocky's.

Exocet RS 4 , Loft Switchblade 7.8 , Delta 20 Slalom. Just powered most of the time but was lucky to score a nice little gust in the glass smooth water.

This turns a slapper board into almost silent bliss. SSSSSSHHHHHH and a bit of noise from the spray......Smile

Didn't last long but well worth the effort.

Looking nice for tomorrow..

Byron, I got the same foil. Felt better with track way forward. Good to see you took it easy first sail back. By
