Bruce Healey (24088km): Lake George, SA, AUCASL93, 7m, 21 tectonic. The fabled gale failed to turn up. Everyone except Tony stood around waiting for the arrival of the huge wind & watching Tony have a good time on 6.5m till eventually we had to go with what we had. The guys who had the vehicles to get to Cockies or the Spit will have had the best of it as was more south than desirable. Still I had a good sail till I heard a cracking noise in boom and came in gently. Andy thinks the noise may have been my knees... THESE WHIPPERSNIPPERS HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE ELDERLY, i'm off to a royal commission to tell my tale of elder abuse. PLEASED WITH THAT, VERY GOOD SPEED FOR ME ON SUCH BIG GEAR. caps locks die...

Andrew Haigh (48982km): Lake George, SA, AU Isonic 90 and 6.2 then FF70 Forecast was for 30 kts but we only got a gusty 20 so it was a little disapointing. Otherwise a pretty good session. Tried the little board at the end, just because it was my last day and was hoping for some more wind, but it wasn't to be. So that wraps up LG for me for 2020. 10 Sailing days, 1000+ km, 8 days over 35kt speeds and 2 PBs.
Ian Wright (16029km): Lake George, SA, AU Forcast looked good for today but unfortunately the wind didn't come in strong till late. Fanatic Ray 102 , KA Race 6.3 , MUF 18 Delta.. Not to bad but feel the fin may not be suitable ???? Then tried the JP Slalom 81 with Techtonics 17. Gusty SS/W 15-20 ish ???
Greg Kiskarpati (20260km): Coal Point, NSW, AU Really fun foil session , needed that . |
