After missing Friday's nuclear conditions, I fronted expecting more of the same. Instead got 15-20kNts with residual chop and lots of floating debris. fearing major finbox damage to the slalom gear before Burrum, I improvised with 7.5m on Fanatic Freewave 112 and 42cm race fin. Actually worked out a nice combination. Later in the session took a hard hit to the fin on something submerged, got catapulted badly and limped home expecting major finbox carnage. Surprisingly only ended up with a couple of cracks in the fin. Kept sailing for a while then called it due to other engagements.
Crossing fingers for some breeze at Burrum.
