Well that was fun!
Late arvo mission to Peli to test drive a new sail...8.6 Severne Mach 2.
Paired with the M137 + 46 Sting I had a winning combo.
I wanted to see how she'd fair on my Maui Sails 490 mast. I'd rigged in the backyard and she looked sweet, but the rotation was a bit sticky, so today I was hoping it would be a bit better with some breeze, and it absolutely was
Based on that outing she's a keeper. Heaps of grunt, but so stable, no back hand pressure at all in the gusts.
Surprised that Seabreeze shows it was only 15-18K at Melville late arvo, it felt more like 17-19K to me, but then again there was definitely more pressure mid-river.
Sweet sesh, better than expected, and stoked that the new sail was an absolute beast first time to bat!
