I was surprised everyone tried Sat when the Sun forecast was looking better.

Sun was typical winter fare :squally fronts with lulls inbetween. Twice I was actually fully powered, but unfortunately needed to spend them beating back to the launch spot, I kept chasing the plane downwind. But you would have been singing with your big gear.
