Peter (50000km):
1841 days ago Kalmus, Cape Cod. Finally a session on the slalom gear again. The FF99 was a bit small in the 10 kn lulls, and the RB 7.0 wanted a bit more than the 17 kn averages, which it got every now and then in 22 kn gusts (all numbers from the local iWindsurf meter - about 2-3 knots less measured on shore). Water state was a bit rough for low tide and SSW, but only because that often gives great conditions, so it still was quite nice. But being underpowered in the lulls on a board that needed a bit of motion to not sink made for a good workout - lots more muscle than when foiling with a righ that weighs about 1/2 of the larger race sail! Great to have a bit of variety, though.
Nina was rocking on her 4.2 wing again, even almost foiling through a few jibes.
