A chance this afternoon to get wet 'just as' the sandbank was emerging in the W/SW and water deep enough on the leeward side. Great to get out for a 'fang' especially after being tied to a couple of hard dry dusty days work on the farm, not able to get away. Though, wasn't the most consistent of wind (as per usual for a Westerly), but the real drag for the afternoon was the huge clumps of ribbon weed that floated off the sandbank as the tide floated over it. Set up my small board initially to head out with, but seeing other sailors dredging in the lulls, I made a last minute change to the big 114 Litre board. That was a mistake! Soldiered on regardless. Freshened me up and put a smile on my dial.

And a good turnout of sailors this afternoon, for those not too smashed from yesterday!
