Day of firsts. First Northerly of sorts in HBay. So looked stronger than it was. Poor old Geoff and Co were struggling to make appropriate sail choice. I had a stuttering start on the front beach with my 7.8 and very quickly wound that up, shot round to Pt Vernon and met the lads.
Decided very quickly on arrival, that the 9.4 was getting another session in marginal 12/13kt’s. Went big all round and it paid dividends. Managed a very nice, comfortable session, hard on the breeze with no real chance of any down winders.
Can’t wait to try this place on a low tide and really tuck into the outer sand bank. Today was pretty choppy with a pretty high tide.
That’s it, the trip south ends with the drive back north, beginning in the wee hours of tomorrow morning. Been a great fortnight with 4 sails had.

1307 days ago Lake Cootharaba, Not as good as yesterday, Gusty up and down wind that was NNW on elanda side and NNE on Teewah side with the dreaded dead spot in between.
Out with matt, neil, tony, andrew, ken, greg, chris, anne and a couple of others. On Isonic117/37WS/7.8 O/d for most of the arvo, got a few runs on Falcon114 late but wind started easing as soon as i went back outon it.
