Naish Hover122/ Kaos 5.7 & XO 4.7/ Naish 1800AH front wing

Went out with the 5.7, after 1 hr was overpowered and rigged down, after 1 hr was freezing and came in to put my wetsuit on, then wind dropped and did the last hr with the 5.7. Dieter and Berowne showing how it's done, Remi crazy trip to the heads, Dieter going all the way to George's river.

I didn't go anywhere, but a great day out, great to see also Walt, Luke and Oliver.

Happy New year everyone !

Happy New Year!

Good to see Walter, Georgio and Dieter out on the water. Slept in too late to catch up with Remi and Tom.

Worked on my gybing thanks to the awesome post on Seabreeze. Last session I had trouble with the rig flip... so I watched most of the videos linked at https://www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Windsurfing/Foiling/Foil-Racing-Windfoil-Gybe-Technique to get them right. The part I was missing... move old front hand towards mast, flip rig, move rig to rear of board, catch new side, rush new front hand back down boom and shift sail forward fast... then sail away like a champ! Only managed a 19kt gybe...Cry 20 will come soon! Cool

FMX, 9m and 900 as before!

Had to use GPS Speed Reader to cut out the drive home... and Google for map!

Fun trying to get up the river with Dieter, but the wind faded so we turned back. I made it downwind in one massive run!

Did HEAPS of gybes around the ~200 beach buoys out about 450m off shore (Left) and even some old-man surfing out in the middle (Right)...

Slalom, Gybes, Up/Down wind runs, even some tack practice. Today had it all. OH and a catapult of course... urgh. No visible damage. Phew. Money mouth
