Tiny 5 metre Mach 3, 86 Litre narrow iSonic, 30cm Vector fin and hang on as best I can with all of my 67 kg.  Very busy but it was very smooth and quiet up by the sewage pump station!

How busy was that? Full carpark and lots out playing in the gusty, shifty breeze. Good to catch up with the local crew and see quite few Pinnas out too.

A few hours of free sailing on the Windtech CM during the Cervantes windsurfing event. Got dropped off at the 1st mark in the 2nd race by one of the support boats. Took some go-pro footage of everyone coming around the mark - couple of close calls where one sailor almost hit the buoy (and me). Anyway, Matt Holder is going to be releasing a vid of the event tomorrow night so might be some good shots in there of the racing. Also had a visit by a pod of dolphins - about 6 of them were swimming under my board for a few minutes so that was a real bonus. Unfortunately I didn't have my Go-pro on at the time!  Great weekend and wind was good on Sunday - about 59 competitors entered so not a bad turnout. Cheers to Isaac for organising the event.

No great speeds, just a training run after returning from illness. Good to be sailing in a seabreeze, and good to cacth up with a posse of Pinnaroos and prospective Pinnaroos.

Fun day of racing at Cervantes. Was underdone for the first 2 races on the 6.6 Hucka and 98 Falcon and was stalling on the marks but by the 3rd 4th and 5th race the wind had increaced to 20 plus to niclely power up the gear and get in the top 10s.Had a few good runs with the pointman and could feel him breathing down my neck on the legs :) Was suprised to see danger Dan,(crimsonflash) bobbing around the first mark with his gopro i:o wld have been quite daunting with 50 plus sailors coming down on you. Kai sailed great and finished around 7th overal. At one stage it never looked good to make the 3rd race as i got hooked by a gang hook while launchig.Limped back to the car park and luckerly Patrick was at hand with a pair of plyers, braced for impact but the pain was short and sharp and not much pain followed.Jumped back on board and made the start line wit 2 minutes to spare. Fantastic event and run superb and professional by Izack and the volunteers :))

Good session, Reg! It was not easy to score PBs today.

Congratulations on the big distance Ricey!

Well done all you Pinnaroos in a very congested Melville.  Great to have a high tide and wind.  I sailed right up the east end of Lucky Bay and apart from the gusts and lulls it was a good day...flat deep water.  Mr Ricey must have gone cruising with all those Km and Mr Flatchat clearly had the outboard motor hooked up. A great day, it sure as hell beats being anywhere else in the world at the moment. Five of my wife's family in UK were diagnosed with Covid yesterday, it's awful.

Great to catch up with a few Pinnas at Melville, was foiling with a 4.2 so dont believe the weird 28 knots that the gps is giving me. very odd as it was out the water (not in my car as is my usual trick).
