Trousers (14352km): el Bog, ssw to 17kts, good turnout. Straight up the top on the big gear, trying to catch the gusts. Bit underdone, but a fun day. Surprisingly flat.
hoppybogan (25813km): Stansbury Southerly 10-15 then 15-20+ FF102, GPS7.3, FF22 Fat then F2 SXs 90, GPS7.3, FF sid G'day viewers, Arrived to see Carl rigging up and had a port with him and a chat 'cause there was no hurry to get on the water as the wind was light. Tricky turned up and drank some port too. All three of us out on Fangy fins today and we were able to get out on the top and have a great sail. The wind did build up slowly and i came in and swapped to the 90 and Sid to get some more speed. It worked well and picked up about 3 knots. All in all a great sail with the guys
Tricky Bogan (21417km): Bunta Bogan Blast with Carl & Hoppy. Cracker day started a bit light so rigged the Loft 7 CASL 101 & 21 FFF forcast was about right today as it slowly built to 17-20 knts. The Fangy fin was the go, mowed down a oval worth of razors today & had a ball just cruzing Finnished with a cold frothie with some lively banter about the fair play of changing boards Did in mention it was a ball just cruzing Cracke day just Cruzing
Bushman Bogan (1340km): Lots of Glass, wind a bit fickle, seemed to get stronger as I left at 6pm. Only one other sailer out at that time. SV OD 7.0, Futura 107, Tribal superweed 23.
Captain skip bogan (50112km): Stansbury, SA, AU - 10 to 15 to 20 Fun day on big kit with Tricky and Hoppy. Something differen't arrived and rigged 1st but still last on water lol. 7m is still out of action so was either 7.7 or 6.3 and the wind was sub 12 knots so went big. Decided on the Patrik 100 to try the new FFF21 speed Fangy - wow what a fin. The 7.7 was probably the best i have rigged it with a tune with Hoppy while the wind was light. The Fangy had heaps of drive upwind i got to see a different area of Stansbury at lowish tide and gave the new Fangy a brush with the razor fish lol. Really looking forward to sailing here more now with the Fangy... Great to catch up Tricky and Hoppy and cheers for the chat and beers . Patrik 100 / 7.7m Ka race 7.7 / FFF21.
