It looked windy out in the middle but with some big holes so I rigged the 7.0 and my middle board. It was ok for about 40 minutes but then it just decided to turn off. I contemplated going home, then rigging the 7.8, but the wind slowly came back so I just tried again with the 7.0. The first 30 minutes was really choppy as the wind went slightly SE and didn't match the waves, but then it all settled in and it ended up a great session.
