Another day at boombas and nearly another rescue😁went for one final run in a rain whiteout unfortunately the wind swung more SW than west, was enjoying the run kind of went a bit too far so started a slog upwind but making little ground. Flex did see your lights thanks but decided to head further offshore to try and get the angle back, would have worked if the wind didn’t shut down😁a small walk, thanks Flex and Gloria for keeping an eye out all good on dry land now.

639 days ago 2 categories   Point Grey, WA, AU. Arrived to find Gloria the Galoping Grany rigged and a nice breeze. Strapped a GPS to Gloria and rigged 6.3 but by the time done wind dropped off so rigged the big guns leaving the other kit still rigged. Was a bit overcooked on the big gear but decided to hold on until could sail with the smaller stuff...never happened. Boz arrived and wind steadily got less and less...turned out just a nice cruise in the sun. The others came in and I had daughter dance deliveries to do so came in too. A squall looked about to hit just as I finished packing and Boz decided to do an Elmo and ride it, looked like a good run but wind swung full west and he was trapped deep down in Roberts Bay with no wind. Went for a drive to see if he wanted a lift but he got a gust and got 1/2 way back then walked the rest. iSonic117, 8.6Sv FF28
