Melville Beach, WA, AU    Well, that was a fail.  Arrived to a few sailors whizzing around and SRS73 just about to launch.  Watched him go out and he was smok'n on the 7.8 so almost rigged 7 but went with same.  First time going out on something other than big gear for what seems forever.   Also changed fin from the beast to something that would go faster.  By the time I'd done that SRS73 came in for a drink and suggested we go for distance, only need 90k's....hmmm, not sure about that, lets see.  Went out, got one run in, turned around and chugged for the next 30 mins before giving up in disgust. Of course, rigged down and wind picked up again so managed to time it perfectly wrong. No doubt SRS73 will go do 90k's to show it was doable. iSonic 117, Severne OD 7.8, TWS 31

Arrived at Melville to no wind but hung around until it looked promising. Jim arrived and we made a pact to bust out 90 kms  The wind didn't play ball but had a pleasant sail anyway. Good to catch up with Tim and watch him send it on the small foil.
