Just a few runs with a fading breeze. Good to catchup with the usual suspects.

Melville

Super low tide, -30cm surge... Was windy when I got there so rigged the 6.5m Tribal Omaha 3 cam and the Radix 88 with 31 sym speed. Did a couple of runs on that trying to find a gust and flat water but in such low tide the channels were shut down and the best wind was in the chop downwind of the lower sand bar. Had one nice run blasting out  for a 37.2kt 10sec which felt mint. On my 10Hz GPS I even saw 40kt peak mwahahaha. Combo was smoking... Then the wind got really patchy and I was waiting for about 10 minutes for a gust at the carpark to get going... it didn't fill in again so I put the 135 on with 40cm MK2 and headed out the back. Had some nice runs blasting through chop with the remaining gusts- hit 36kts a few times in the middle of the river which was mint, and even lined up the ferry run- but the wind backed right off for that one...
