Andrew Haigh (49062km): Coal Point, NSW, AU Stingray 140, Flow 1000 and Naish 6.4 Southerly 12-18 Plenty of wind left over from yesterday
sboardcrazy (24442km): 5- 11kts occasional patch of 12-14kts SSW-S Valentine, NSW, AU sailed 12.30-2.30pm 7.5m turbo - WT64 ( 112ltres) - 35cms tectonics weedy Disappointing. Most forecasts were predicting 17kts S. Predict wind was the only one to get it right. I find it pretty good for the lake. Luckily I rigged for the conditions rather than the forecast. I probably should have used the 125ltre board but the WT is more fun , goes earlier and gets upwind better subplaning. A good workout. I got all my gybes and stayed dry. I'm very happy with my subplaning gybes and I'm learning a few things to use in more powered ones. It was great fun when I did get going but that was only 10% of the time. Lots of wingers , no sharks , and Andrew came down for a late visit after I'd finished.

Ant-man (13115km): Coal Point, NSW, AU 5.5 Hydra 1500 Flow. Over powered but still great to get out. Andy and I and some Wingers
Croanster (461km): Marmong Point, NSW, AU. Futura, 6.0. Wind was lighter than it looked. Pretty consistent though maybe 12-15 knots mostly from the south. Water is getting very chilly! So is the air temp for that matter Ill dust off the steamer next time. |
