Kipps (3433km):  6 categories the "unusual October NW Wind event" was, as forecast, an up & down affair, where i got the down part during my opportunity window. soon as i got on the water at Coyote, the wind dropped – didn't rig up as it could have come back up just as easily; except it did not until about the closing of the sailing window (daylight and park curfew). it did allow the water to flatten up some, and was able to catch gusts on a couple of unimpeded gybe exits for two decent alphas.
