iS101, 6.3 Blade, 35 SO7 elite - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU  Wind E 13 - 23kn

Over estimated the wind and rigged the 6.3 (the 7.0 was already rigged too Frown)  Most of the session was a real slog although got one good rain squall but was in the wrong spot.  This squall gave me my 2 sec peak and Nm which included a gybe.  One consolation was I got to try the 6.3 with my new mast and when powered up it felt very nice indeed.

6 sessions in the last 7 days so can't really complain.

Urangan, QLD, AU

A good place to sail although it takes a bit of effort to get out to the wind.   A couple of extra sailors today, one John, managed to kick his fin and badly sliced two toes, which had to be doctored by Lyn.       Used the 6.6m Loft 02 again.

today I was on a mission to get the ocean 30kn nm. As uncle bob often says my eyes were like dinner plates. i had the 7.1 Ka race 110 patrick and 38 vector rockits throttle on full power but it was knot to be. My last run was the fastest but as fatigue set in i spun out towards the end of the run killing my hopes and dreams of glory. I still thought it was in the bag from earlier attemps but alas. i packed up and went wavesailing for 2.5 hrs

until next time ocean 30nm.

Firie,

Photos or it didn't happen arriveWink  Pretty annoyed with myself because I reckon I could have got a decent hour, Nm, and alpha if I had used the 7.0 as wind was really east and tide was on the way out making for some flattish spots down the southern end of beach.

PS - Troppo texted me too and said he had a 33.7 on the GT-31 Surprised

Snags,      I don't think this old body will let me do it in one session.     Urangan is good to sail, particularly at lowish tide.    Forecast today is for wind this morning but dropping back by arvo.

Firie,     We can only hope.    Hooray sailed ar Harvey on Sunday and is in fine mode.

Troppo,

Damn.  Oh so close to that 30kn ocean Nm - doing them is great training for the stare-off championships (no blinking)Wink.  I think Bob's on the money as I don't think I'll ever better my 29.2kn* ocean Nm here - maybe in WA one day though.

PS - thanks for returning my balls Laughing

*had to throw that in just to gloat, hey Bob.

Herby,

You'll be only the second FNQer to reach the 10k mark too.
