Green Island, QLD, AU. Isonic 87, 6.7 Overdrive, 34ish Sting.

We only had a small window to get the right tide was getting 36's on the Isonic but water was getting to shollow so gave Cam's JP 50/23 slingshot a try and got a 38 on the dial first run, spun out second run and 37.67 third run.

Happy to crack an Alpha even though they felt messy.

Another great day at Green !!

Port Douglas, QLD, AU My Mate Rick put the hard word on me to go sailing, perfect excuse to down tools and go and play..hit beach about 3 o'clock.18 kts and a choppy sea.sailed from sailing club as tide was out, sailed hard up wind to kite beach and spent a good hour play racing my mate, who was sailing an old Excocet that i owned years ago,I gave it to him after i snapped the nose of it..'one thing i am good at..'.wind started to soften a bit so we blasted home on a fading south east trade wind.Just another fun sail in Port Douglas..101 Futura 6.6m Stype norh sail.42cm fin.. cheers Ed.

Green Island, CA53, 6.4 Koncept, Delta 25.

To much downhaul and to lazy to go back in and set the sail right.

Great PB's Toody and Locky.

Kurrimine Beach, QLD, AU     For a while this morning we thought it would be a no sail say, but about 11am we decided to rig up.    Still stiff and sore from yesterday so I just ordered the old 5.9m loft 02 again and took the 105l Screamer.     A bit underpowered but an enjoyable session.

Kurrimine Beach, QLD, AU     Didn't look too good early and the forecast suggested that the wind would not be below Cairns.     At 11 am I decided that if we got on  the water by noon and sailed till 2pm we could let the gear dry a bit and head for home by 4pm for the 2 hour drive.    As it turned out the wind dropped out about 1.15 pm so we gave it away.    I used the 6.6 Loft 02 and the 116l Screamer.

HoppyBob had 3 sessions over the 3 days and for a man that has no hip he aquitted himself very well.   So  what if he gets in a little bit of trouble, he always finds his own way out, and it is grand to see him in the briney enjoying his love of the sport.    Everyone, including the kiters, gives him a bit of a hand with the gear, but he has to do it all on the water.    Onya Bob.
