Green Island, QLD, AU Great Day on the island in 25-33 knots with the odd higher Gust .Kel & Benny Mccarthy arrived a

t ~ 930

Started on the falcon speed 52.5  witht he Tribal SW 25 Evo 6 5.8 -really nice combination..!!

Water got too shallow so changed down to the 23cms fin /briefly tried the JP speed 50 with the tribal delta 14 but falcon speed combo was the faster today .

Great fun  & physically challenging.

Had a 43.08 on the dial today so happy !!CoolSmile

Green Island, QLD, AU

Decided to put some nappies on and head over to GI to sail with the Big Guns!....  The sun was out and the wind was fully cranking all day long!!!  In fact, it seemed to just get windier as the session went on, especially towards the last bit as the tide was rising along with the chop.  Top speed was on the first run of the day...  Go figure!...  Then my balls started to rapidly retract...  Sooooooooo HECTIC!  Surprised

Dr Cam super kindly sacrificed his 18cm Tribal fin for me to plug into the Exocet Turbo 106, with Severne OD 6.2 (I only had the Kestral 24 in the kit bag)...  Thank goodness he did as it was super shallow for the first half.

Tried to give it a good crack today but struggled in the conditions- just couldn't manage to get close enough in to parallel with the top of the island on the speed run.  Had some very elegant dismounts, and some not so-  Kel will vouch for this!  Wink

Dr Cam & Capt'n Kel were both tearing it up on the strip today- really something to aspire to!  The next Marvel Superheroes??!! Cool

It is safe to say I am doing my bit in contributing to the sailing community economy...  The beloved Exocet board has a pretty bad broken nose which now needs a really decent proper repair...

Top ten sailing day for sure!  Thanks for the great company guys!! CoolCool

Still clinging onto my NM jelly bean for the month... Foot in mouth

Might be up for another session tomorrow, perhaps, in a more sedate location... Laughing

Great numbers from green lads

Well done on the PB's Kel and Benny.  Ben you promised you would look after that board!!  Anyhow good to see your impressive numbers on it .

I tried for a sail at Tinaroo this morning but when i got there I noticed by mast foot was still in the shed at home.  If possible Andrew and will go for a 10 am sail tomorrow morning if the wind hangs around.

Monster day out on the greens of the Island flats. Well done B2, Kam and Kel - 18cm fins B2, wow, that must have been shallow, and, you traded a busted board for a PB. Whats not to love about today Tongue out.

Ed, you old sea dog you. "Guess it was worth rigging up for" - reckon it might have been.

I plan to, I'm in Brisbane at the moment  finishing my  catamaran. Putting  it on the  market  next  week. I've  had a hard  start to the year  having to  finalize  my house  with the  council.  Now I'm  hoping to sail a lot leading up to the nationals. I hope you and Billy you can join and  have a go too.
